Live Today Nexus is a dynamic women’s non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness, offer unwavering support, and provide valuable resources to empower women on their journey to brighter tomorrows.

What We Do

At the heart of Live Today Nexus lies a profound commitment, fueled by a burning “why”. We are in this business because we see a growing need for inter-city resources to be readily available within our communities. There continues to be a lack of education about what is available, and most significantly, a scarcity of resources known with our community.

For some of us, this mission resonates deeply, as we been in the shoes of a woman who just needed a break. We’ve walked the path of uncertainty, not knowing where to find the resources necessary to be more self-sufficient.

Live Today Nexus was born from the unwavering belief that developing a community hub, a sanctuary for women to gain knowledge, tools, assistance, and a map to guide them towards their desired destinations are the key to breaking vicious cycles.

I’m Sandra Powell, and I proudly hail from the heart of Tamarac, FL. My journey with Live Today Nexus has been nothing short of a heartwarming adventure, and I’m thrilled to share it with you. I am driven by the belief that every woman has the power to embrace life to its fullest, no matter her age or circumstances.

At the heart of my mission is a profound commitment to the physical, spiritual, and emotional growth of women from all walks of life. I’m a firm believer that when women support women, incredible transformations can occur.

I can vividly recall the feeling of being trapped within the confines of a system. Every penny I earned was spoken for, allocated solely to paying the bills, while trying to make it from one point to another.

I was enrolled in various well-intentioned programs, all aimed at teaching me how to achieve self-sufficiency. Yet, despite these efforts, I felt broken as a woman.

The world around me was unraveling in ways I couldn’t control. It can be a daunting and overwhelming experience. Trying to understand the world’s system of what success is, but the other pieces of my life were disintegrating. This is precisely why my passion burns for forging connections that foster the creation of healthy lives in every area, The Body, The Spirit, and The Soul.

While I may not personally possess all the solutions a woman requires, I have built a network of individuals and businesses, each offering a piece of the puzzle.
